Sandy Bigman, DDS, MSD
Diplomate, American Board of Orthodontics
Orthodontics has brought so much to my life and I am honored to be an orthodontist. There is so much power in a smile and I love that I can improve my patient’s dental health as well as self-esteem. I have treated over 10,000 patients ranging in age from 5-75 in my career and have extensive experience in treating a wide variety of cases. In my time away from work, my wife Neleen and I enjoy spending time with our children Jason, Amanda and Hallie. We enjoy eating, traveling and attending sporting events.
A little about my education: I attended The University of the Pacific where I earned a B.A. in Biological Sciences and a D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery). Following dental school, I practiced general dentistry for 2 years. I then attended Fairleigh Dickinson School of Dental Medicine in Hackensack, New Jersey, earning a Master’s degree in Orthodontics.
I have a passion for orthodontics and for helping patients obtain the best smile and patient experience possible which is why I continually add to my education. Staying at the forefront of orthodontics and giving my patients the best possible care are extremely important to me. I expanded my knowledge in the importance of sleep and participated in a 5 month residency in sleep medicine at UCLA. This unique training has allowed me to comprehensively treat patients of all ages in orthodontics and sleep related issues as well.
Giving back to my patients and the community is something that brings me a lot of joy. I learned from my family the value of giving back to the community and I continually support local sports teams, schools, scout troops, as well as many other great causes.
