Today, safety should be on everyone's mind. We want you to know about our infection control, sterilization and staff. Our goal is to provide the highest level of safety and quality to you. While this is not new to our offices, we upgrade these procedures constantly as new guidelines and equipment become available.CPR Certified:
All team members who work on you and your family are registered and certified dental assistants. All are current in continuing education and current in CPR techniques. We are up to date with the latest in infection control, sterilization guidelines and equipment. When you visit our office, you can feel confident that you and your family's health are protected.Disinfectants:
Disinfectant materials are applied to chairs, countertops and other appropriate areas.Barrier Controls:
Our office follows recommendations by OSHA, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. All our registered dental assistants wear new gloves on each patient, masks, protective eyewear and face shields when needed.Dry Heat Sterilization and Steam Autoclaves:
Both kinds of sterilization are used in our practice for the appropriate hand pieces, pliers and instruments. We also voluntarily participate in a "Quality Insurance monitoring" done through Sterilizer Monitoring Systems.Environmental Impact Office Policies:
We don't use any x-ray chemicals as we use digital x-rays. We also do not use disposable plastics as a rule but prefer to disinfect instead, where possible, to eliminate waste. We regularly use halogen light bulbs and order supplies that are environmentally friendly when possible. Furthermore, we have invested in a state-of-the-art water system that reduces water usage of the office while still providing the purified water needed during treatment.Back to Top
